Biography

Born in Orange, California, Judy spent her early years living with her family in Southern
California.  Her father was a pilot for TWA and after being assigned to Saudi Arabia, the
family traveled to Bangkok, Hong Kong and other points of interest in the Orient and on
to Europe.  As a result of her travels, Judy virtually saw the world before the age of
eleven years old.  When tensions started to develop in the Middle East, Judy and her
family returned to California.

Judy started writing songs in her teens, accompanying herself on the guitar and piano.
She wrote music and lyrics and performed for her creative writing class.  Being well
received and earning an "A" for the quarter, she began a love affair with music, writing
and performing.  Judy graduated through Disco and other club circuit performances and
learned about the "Business" side of music.

Judy's education in the music business grew even more as she moved to Nashville,
Tennessee.  Writing for various publishers, Judy gained recognition as a talented
singer/songwriter.  ABC movies licensed Judy's songs in two of their movie productions.
During the 1990's she signed as a staff writer for Reba McEntire's publishing company.
Country music performers Lee Greenwood and Billy Jo Spears are among those who have
recorded Judy's songs.

In 1992, Judy released her "Eyes Of Love" album on the Dreamwest Entertainment record label. This album has some of Nashville's premier musicians performing with Judy including Grammy Award winners Vince Gill, Mark O'Connor, and Jerry Douglas.  Stated Country Gazette in their July 1992 article on Judy, "Her smooth-as-honey voice and sharp-as-a-tack writing skills are brought together on an exceptional album, 'Eyes Of Love',  will certainly make an impression that will stick in the minds of contemporary country fans... Judy possesses a voice and talent rare and pure that is proven track after track...." Songs from the album have been played on over 500 stations throughout the United States and Europe. One of the tunes, 'So Hard On Me' was featured on the ABC television network's movie of the week, "Betrayed By Love".
